Johnny Depp invites schoolgirl to premiere

Johnny Depp invited British schoolgirl Beatrice Delap, 10, to attend the London premiere of his new movie, Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. The actor met the little girl last year after she wrote him asking if Captain Jack Sparrow could lead her Meridian Primary School class in London in a mutiny against the teachers. Depp, who was filming in the London area at the time, showed up in costume at the school along with four other cast members last October. He didn’t forget the little girl, sending her an invitation to join him on the red carpet at the premiere last Thursday. Beatrice, who was thrilled to meet with her idol once again, told Sky news: “He is really kind… and I got another hug. That’s two under my belt.”

It just goes to show you. Being rich or poor doesn’t make what type of person you become. It’s how you see yourself and how you treat others. JD obviously is humble in spite of being wealthy and actually cares about others.
