Johnny Depp to play The Riddler?

Rumors continue to swirl as to who will be cast in the next Batman movie. Oscar-winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman is said to be the front-runner to play The Penguin, while Johnny Depp is said to be up for the role of The Riddler. The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan, as well as Christian Bale, have not ruled out doing more Batman films, and are said to be open for anything.

DC Films President Walter Hamada said during a deposition that Warner Bros. initially declined Amber Heard’s option to appear in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
What the hell?!? The rumors keep changing, before it was jolie as catwoman now its PSH and Depp as the riddler and penguin. I like the johnny depp idea but not penguin. In fact, the director (Chris Nolan) himself said he wouldnt want penguin in the series cause he wouldnt fit. He also said that riddler would probably be the next villain with david tennant probably playing the role. I would rather have Depp as mad hatter or he might not do bad as a replacment for the joker. (just maybe)
Catwoman is getting her own movie, shes not going to be in the batman ones. You know… like the article said, and Jolie is still rumored to play her…you just need to relax and read things more carefully.

I should hope they haven’t ruled it out! I mean, what is the total of The Dark Knight so far, close to 1/2 billion $…????? You would have to be TOTALLY off your rocker to rule it out!!!

lately, these BATMAN prequels keeps getting better and better. it doesn’t matter which villain it is but both Angelina Jolie, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Johnny Depp will be a BIT better cast than Michelle Pfeiffer, Danny Devito and Jim Carrey. Heath Ledger…NUFF SAID!!!
