Johnny Depp wants to be a vampire

Johnny DeppJohnny Depp is set to play the lead in a film adaptation of the ’60s TV show Dark Shadows, playing the role of vampire Barnabas Collins. The original series was Gothic soap opera that took place in and around a creepy old mansion where a young girl has been hired to work as a governess. Depp has stated in interviews that he was obsessed with the show as a kid, and as a child, wished he could play Barnabas Collins—so looks like he’s got his wish at last.
