Nicole KidmanWhile shooting a scene for Baz Luhrmann’s new movie, Australia, Hugh Jackman was saved at the last minute from getting stung by a scorpion. While lying in a sleeping bag, he throws one side open to invite his love interest, played by Nicole Kidman, to snuggle with him. A source told the Daily Star: “Nicole gasped when Hugh opened the cover invitingly to reveal a poisonous scorpion creeping up his bag. She calmly told him not to move, squatted down and scooped the creepy crawly into her hat.”

Way to go! At least she is level headed unlike her ex-husband that’s brainwashed with his religion and trades for a younger wife every few years.

I am darn proud of her brave acts to save someone’s life like Hugh Jackman is the best actor from Xmen anyway but you should deserve an award for heroes ceremonies or something i am sure that Hugh Jackman will owe Nicole Kidman whatever happens in future where bad situations come… You Go girl damn Tom Cruise with screw up religion .. Just like when she and Tom seperated, she kept her head held high and kept her cool. She may be scared or upset in the inside, but on the outside, she’s calm and in control. Good on you Nicole!!!

I can’t believe people would actually mention her ex and bad mouth him in response to a level headed reaction to a dangerous situation! I challenge anyone to come up with a legitimate quotation from her saying something wrong about Tom Cruise or the Church of Scientology.
Nicole Kidman is an charming and beautiful woman. She is admired for many things, but this is a glimpse in to a part of her that many would not have considered; she is level headed and intelligent. Good going, Nicole!

A scorpion stings, it doesn’t bite, and it’s roughly the same as a bee sting. Unless he was deathly allergic to the sting, he wouldn’t have had much of a reaction. Big whoop-de-doo!

Ali obviously you didnt hear about the British gentleman who was bitten by a scorpion in Thailand sometime in late June early July (not sure exact dates) i read it in one of the british newspapers which are usually about a week to ten days old when we get them at my location in canada.

He didnt get better in thailand so went home to the UK for further medical care end ended up dying due to i believe complications from the original scorpion bite.

Nicole well done no matter what is said you perceved a threat and acted on it.
