Lohan’s mom defends coke use?

Last week, photos of Lindsay Lohan allegedly snorting coke, taken by a friend with a cell phone camera in a nightclub washroom, surfaced. Lohan’s mom, Dina, has spoken out on the allegations, telling Us Weekly: “We’re not reading anything about it.” Dina says partying “is the fun part of the business, adding, “We work so hard, then some girl just tried to make money off her (for that tape). [Lindsay] doesn’t even know who her friends are…she is so misunderstood. All she wants to do is act and have a somewhat normal life.” Great advice… if you believe your daughter snorting cocaine in public is “normal.”
Lindsay Lohan ???? who cares…..I don’t remember seeing her in anything but the tabloids…..
Why wouldn’t you care about a kid doing ‘coke’?
She has impressed my 13 year old daughter, so I care.
By the way Parentrap, the remake with Lindsay starring, is still a favourite movie of ours.
As a special needs assistant, the ‘who cares’ attitude puts more kids on the street, and out of work, life and progress.

So by “get a life,” Randy, you mean ignore your kids and pay no attention to what they are idolizing? Or do you simply mean be as selfish as possible and never mind anyone else in general? Ever heard the phrase “be the change you want in the world”?

Scott, ever heard the expression “get a life”? Maybe your kids will pick up on your example and spend their lives doing more important things than obsessing over Hollywood’s coke-ho of the week.
This is getting really tiring every time you pick up a mag there is something written in it about Lindsay Lohan. They should just her a break and let her be who she wants to be.
Her mom never once said she was using but then again she neer said she was’nt either. But for one that is idolized by young girls around the world she should be trying to set a better example.

Come on, what happened to innocent until proven guilty? As Anyone seen the picture? Even if it(the picture) did exist, does anyone realize how easy it is to “tweek” pictures with all the technology out there? Sure sucks being a crelebrity these days, always in the spotlight!!!

she will find herself in rehab soon enoug – i think shell end up like anna nicole smith – look at where all her money went to…..drugs. lindsay’s young though so if she gets some help maybe she can pull through it…..

Anna Nichole Smith did not spend all her money on abusing drugs. I mean, yes, there was numerous amounts of drugs in her system when she died, but that doesn’t mean she spent ALL of her money on it. You shouldn’t believe everything you hear and see in the news. Most of it comes from the tabloids. Also, as Edith said,
you need proof in order to consider someone guilty of doing something. The “friend” doesn’t really provide proof. It could have been sugar or something that Lohan snorted. And then, of course, there’s also tweeking. You should really listen to the REAL news.
Lindsey Lohan what Mom should say that about her daughter. That’s not normal. It should be done behind close doors if she don’t want it to be in tabloids.
You know Hollywood although a LOVELY place to look at is NOT a place I’d want to grow up. I mean she’s not the first talented little miss who has succomed to this lifestlye. But let’s hope she get’s rid of her mother as a friend. Because a MOTHER should be a mother NOT your friend! What ONE or more of the HIGHLY publicized Fashion magazines need to do is GET Lindsay and Drew Barrymore together. As sick of talking about her youth as she might be. So Far Ms Barrymore has been the only one to truly come out on top of it all. Running her own production company “Flower Films” having a string of very sucessful films/relationships in her life I think she would be the perfect role model for Lindsay. We all remember River Phoenix right? How sad to see a LIGHT that was so bright go out so soon. Would hate to see the same happen to Lindsay.
