Lopez receives death threats

Jennifer Lopez‘s husband, Marc Anthony, has hired extra security after she received letters threatening to “kill her in public, just like the slaughtered animals whose fur she wears.” A source told the New York Daily News: “Marc Anthony has hired two off-duty police officers, in addition to her usual security team, to watch over Lopez whenever she makes public appearances.” However, Lopez’s rep denies that security has been increased, saying, “This is untrue. She has the same security team she has always had.”
Wearing fur is no longer trendy – but to get killed for it would be rather hypocritical.
