Lost to end after 3 more seasons

The hit series Lost will end after three more seasons, according to the executive producers. They’d originally envisioned making 100 episodes, but a new agreement with ABC has set the number of episodes at 120. Producer Carlton Cuse says, “(We’ve had) a road map for the series with all the major mythological milestones and the ending in place for a while. What we didn’t know was how long we had to play the story out. By defining the endpoint we can now really map out the rest of the series in confidence. We sort of view Lost as a mosaic. Now there are only 48 more tiles that go into that mosaic, and we’re figuring out, along with all the other writers, exactly where they all go.”
Awww…thats too bad. I love Lost, but its that type of show that can’t go on forever. At least we’ll get to watch it a while longer.
