New movies in theaters – Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire & more

There’s an amazing selection of new movies opening in theaters this weekend, including Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, which brings the original Ghostbusters back to the big screen. Check them all out below and watch the trailers to decide what you want to see at the movies. ~Alexandra Heilbron

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire – Callie Spengler (Carrie Coon) and her children, Phoebe (Mckenna Grace) and Trevor (Finn Wolfhard) return, along with Gary Grooberson (Paul Rudd) to where it all started — the iconic New York City firehouse — to team up with the original Ghostbusters (Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson and Annie Potts), who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. Immaculate – Cecilia (Sydney Sweeney) is an American nun of devout faith, embarking on a new journey in a remote convent in the picturesque Italian countryside. Luca – Luca (Jacob Tremblay) is a young sea monster. When he meets another young sea monster named Alberto (Jack Dylan Grazer), he discovers his new friend lives on land, where sea monsters take on a human appearance. Hate to Love: Nickelback – An in-depth look at one of the world’s most successful rock groups. Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 – Deep within the 100-Acre-Wood, a destructive rage grows as Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Owl, and Tigger find their lives endangered after Christopher Robin reveals their existence. Not wanting to live in the shadows any longer, the group decides to take the fight to the town of Ashdown, home of Christopher Robin, leaving a bloody trail of death and mayhem in their wake.
