Ocean’s Thirteen sinks Pirates 3 at weekend box office

Ocean’s Thirteen drove Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End out of the top position at the weekend box office with a gross of $37 million (all figures US), while Pirates took in an additional $21.3 million. Knocked Up shifted to third with $20 million. The new animated feature Surf’s Up grabbed fourth spot with $18 million, while Shrek the Third rounded out the top five with $15.8 million.

   Eh, “At World’s End” was okay, but it certainly wasn’t as good as “Dead Man’s Chest”.
