Paris Hilton needs permit to enter Canada

Paris Hilton is scheduled to attend a promotional event at a Montreal shoe store on Saturday, but she’ll first have to obtain a permit from the Canada Border Services Agency. Robert Gervais, a spokesperson for the CBSA, explains that because she’s served time in the States, Hilton needs a permit to enter Canada. If she gets the necessary paperwork, she’ll be promoting her new line of footwear at Brown’s in Montreal, where the first 200 people to make a purchase will get an autograph. Hilton has recently been travelling all through Europe with her current boyfriend, Benji Madden of the rock band Good Charlotte. It’s not clear whether the ex-con needed special permission to enter those countries.
