The Conjuring (2013)

A newer one, but a goodie! Real-life paranormal investigators Lorraine (Vera Farmiga) and Ed (Patrick Wilson) are called in to take a closer look at some of the spooky happenings in Carolyn and Roger’s farmhouse, set apart from the rest of the town. Their haunting seems somewhat tame at first, but ever so quickly escalates. The Warrens dig deeper into the house's history, learning that they’re dealing with something much scarier than they previously believed.
