Phone Booth (2002)

The Caller (Kiefer Sutherland) - "Isn't it funny? You hear a phone ring and it could be anybody. But a ringing phone has to be answered, doesn't it? Doesn't it?" Maybe not after this flick. Smarmy New York City publicist Stu (Colin Farrell) decides to use a payphone in the middle of a busy street to make a call to his mistress Pam (Katie Holmes). What starts out as a quick chat in a phone booth turns into a deadly hostage takeover, as Stu unwittingly finds himself held prisoner by a smooth-talking maniac with a warped moral code, a sniper rifle, and a phone.
