Scorpion – Hiroyuki Sanada (The Wolverine)

Though originally just a color palette swap of Sub-Zero in the original game, Scorpion has arguably gone on to become the most iconic character of the franchise, and one of video games’ most recognizable figures with one of the most quoted lines in “Get over here!” Originally played by Chris Casamassa, the character has since had his backstory fleshed out over the various games since, and an actor of greater dramatic ability is required. Bringing on the likes of Hiroyuki Sanada, who has played both heroes and villains in his long and storied career, would be a great addition. His turns in The Last Samurai and The Wolverine show that he is both equally capable of playing a secondary character with depth, who walks the fine line between hero and villain.
