Daniel Radcliffe – Horns

Being a child star and taking on a role as iconic as Harry Potter can be a curse for any actor. For many they will never see Daniel Radcliffe as anyone other than Harry Potter, but that hasn't stopped the English actor from branching out and doing his best to change that perception. One of his earliest attempts couldn’t have been any more different from his Harry Potter character in the form of Ig Perrish in the 2013 dark comedy Horns. In the film, Perrish discovers a pair of horns growing from his head following the mysterious death of his girlfriend. It soon becomes apparent that Ig is turning devilish, and uses his newfound abilities to manipulate the townsfolk around him. It's quite a drastic change for audiences to take in, but it was a role that really set a precedent for the kinds of projects Radcliffe was interested in doing post-Harry Potter, as he would go on to take even weirder roles in films like Swiss Army Man and Guns Akimbo.
