Chloe Grace Moretz – Bolt

Of all the reasons for an actor to be replaced, the least desirable one is studio interference. Such was the case for Chloë Grace Moretz in the 2008 animated film Bolt. With production on the film already being troubled to the point that director Chris Sanders was replaced, the decision was made by the higher ups at Disney to promote budding star Miley Cyrus in the lead female role. The silver lining for Moretz is that she wasn't completely omitted from the film as part of her voice work remained in the film as the younger version of her character Penny, for which she was still credited.
