Middle-earth – The Lord of the Rings / The Hobbit series

Perhaps the most well-known fantasy setting of this century, the world of Middle-earth, like the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, has only loosely been explored by both The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies. However, despite what audiences have explored via the landscapes of New Zealand and the magic of CGI, there is so much more, given the rich lore of the world and the history it contains. The beautiful landscapes we do see are but a mere fraction of what the world has to offer, especially as a world that was heading towards dark times. With Amazon’s upcoming The Lord of the Rings series, hopefully audiences will be able to explore more of Middle-earth in its heyday.
