Star Wars Galaxy – Star Wars Franchise

This game changer of a franchise isn't short of worlds worth exploring in any of its eras. From the original trilogy to the prequels, sequels, and all of its TV media, there is a wealth of locales that audiences have had a chance to explore and that led Disney to create a Star Wars land at their Disneyland and Disney World theme parks. Perhaps the most visually stunning and inventive is the world of Coruscant from the prequel trilogy. The original trilogy of films mostly featured single climate settings from the sandy deserts of Tatooine to the snowy landscapes of Hoth, and finally the lush greenery of Endor, but Coruscant stands in contrast to those worlds. Coruscant was depicted as a city-covered planet and arguably the first wholly futuristic world found in the Star Wars universe. This wide variety of worlds, and its unique inhabitants, is what distinguishes Star Wars from many of its contemporaries and is a big selling point for its legions of fans.
