Best Actress – Annette Bening (20th Century Women)

Annette Bening is a four-time Oscar nominee, and for good reason. She's a dynamic, gifted actress, and she delivered one of her best performances in 20th Century Women. She's been nominated for pretty well every Best Actress prize this year, so the Academy's choice to leave her off the ballot is a shocker. We're big fans of the film and we were really pulling for Annette this awards season.
