Apocalypse – X-Men: Apocalypse (2016)

As one of the X-Men's most famous comic book villains, many were looking forward to Apocalypse's live-action debut following the tease at the end of X-Men: Days of Future Past. What they eventually got in X-Men: Apocalypse was nothing short of disappointment. You can't fault Oscar Isaac's performance, as he does the best he can with the material he's given, but it winds up getting buried beneath some terrible-looking makeup and prosthetics. With a name like Apocalypse the character should be eminently intimidating with his presence, but instead you're distracted by all the design choices that just went wrong with this character.
