Ike Barinholtz – Blockers

Head and neck injuries on the sets of films are often the result of bad falls, and such was the case for Ike Barinholtz during production of the hit comedy film Blockers. In a stunt fall that went wrong, Barinholtz broke his neck. To be precise, he fractured two cervical vertebrae in his neck during the impact, which would require the comedic actor to wear a brace to stabilize his neck until the fracture healed. This injury would also impact Barinholtz' filming on the hit series The Mindy Project, with his injury being written into the show.
