The Flash

After initially being announced in 2015, the DCEU's solo Flash film has taken a long and winding path to finally hitting production. After going through a carousel of directors and the ever-changing vision of DC's cinematic universe, the film finally seems to be on solid ground with It director Andy Muschietti and quite an intriguing premise. After seemingly being done with the Batman role, Ben Affleck is said to be returning for another outing and will be joined by Michael Keaton's rendition of the Dark Knight in this planned adaptation of the Flashpoint comic book storyline. With the film further opening up the realm of the multiverse first explored in The CW's Arrowverse crossover event Crisis on Infinite Earths (in which The Flash star Ezra Miller cameos), the possibilities will likely be endless.
