The Matrix 4

Back in 1999 the Wachowskis introduced a little game-changing film called The Matrix to audiences around the world. The sci-fi action flick became an instant hit and a hugely influential piece of cinema thanks to its technical innovations and visual style, and that has perhaps worked against the Wachowskis in all their following projects. Now Lana (formerly known as Larry) Wachowski returns to the franchise nearly 20 years later alongside stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss. Much of the film has been kept under wraps, aside from casting announcements, which hopefully works out in the film's favor as this fourth installment looks to be as groundbreaking as the original film. There's a lot to be excited for with expectations high, but it is definitely a film that needs to be seen in theaters.
