Comedian Chris Rock took a step back from acting in the past decade, playing more supporting roles than leading roles towards the end of the 2010s. This is in spite of, arguably, his best role in the 2014 comedy Top Five as Andre Allen. In 2020, we’ll see him enjoy a big year as he lends his talents in the Robert Zemeckis adaptation of the classic Roald Dahl book The Witches. He’ll also play a role in the eighth installment of the Saw franchise, which Rock is also producing.
