Garrett Hedlund

Like many young actors, Garrett Hedlund got his start with supporting roles in major projects. He started out on some pretty big films, including Wolfgang Petersen's Troy, Peter Berg's Friday Night Lights, John Singleton's Four Brothers and the film adaptation of the fantasy novel Eragon, before landing the leading role in Disney's blockbuster sequel Tron: Legacy. However, the middling reception to Legacy and the subsequent on-again, off-again plans for a sequel really handcuffed Hedlund's career, as he's since stuck to secondary roles in most of his work. Though we may never see him lead another Tron sequel, Hedlund has settled in nicely as a solid supporting actor with strong performances in films such as Inside Llewyn Davis, Mudbound, and Triple Frontier.
