Toby Kebbell

It's a shame that an actor as talented as Toby Kebbell has a resumé that may be remembered more for its box office flops than his consistently solid work. Like Eva Green, Toby Kebbell is often the best part of some lesser projects, and the ones where he's been especially good are the roles in which he's unrecognizable. In the case of the latter, Kebbell is entirely unrecognizable in his roles as Koba in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and Durotan in Warcraft, thanks mostly to being covered in a CGI character. Like his Ben-Hur co-star Jack Huston, Kebbell was set to have a big 2016 with the leading role of Durotan in the aforementioned video game adaptation Warcraft, a supporting role in the critically acclaimed drama adaptation of A Monster Calls, a supporting role in the crime drama Gold, and as the antagonist to Jack Huston's title character in Ben-Hur. While Kebbell will likely continue to find work and deliver strong performances, he will be less likely found in a leading capacity.
