The Sounds (Acorn TV / CBC Gem)

This intense thriller stars Rachelle Lefevre as Canadian Maggie Cabbott, who joins her husband Tom in New Zealand to start a new business that will benefit the entire town and possibly save it from ruin. However, when Tom goes off in a boat early one morning and never returns, the entire town gets involved in the mystery. There's a twist in this beautifully filmed series that brings even more intrigue to the plot, and the gorgeous scenery is an added bonus.
