Tom Holland – Peter Parker, Spider-Man: Homecoming

When Marvel and Sony reached a new deal to include the character of Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it officially brought an end to the Andrew Garfield era of The Amazing Spider-Man series. The decision was made to go even younger than before and so came the casting of Tom Holland after Marvel had also considered the likes of Kodi Smit-McPhee and Dylan O’Brien. Holland would be a stark contrast to the more adult-like appearances of Tobey Maguire and the aforementioned Garfield, and would be an instant hit with audiences during his introduction in Captain America: Civil War before getting his own solo adventure in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
