William Bradley Pitt was born in Oklahoma and raised in Missouri. He studied journalism at the University of Missouri and like many other aspiring actors, he dropped out before graduating and headed west. He told his parents he was enrolling in the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, but instead, he became a limo driver. His clients were strippers that he chauffeured from one bachelor party to another. He also delivered refrigerators and wore the giant chicken costume for Pollo Loco, all the while taking classes and hoping to break into acting. He joined a classmate as her partner for an audition, and as fate would have it, he was signed after being in Los Angeles for only seven months.
