Adam Schlesinger – April 1, 2020

Adam Schlesinger, one of the founding members of the rock band Fountains of Wayne died April 1, 2020 at the age of 52. He'd been in the hospital on a ventilator for two weeks before his death. The music of Fountains of Wayne has been featured on several TV series including Gilmore Girls and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. As a solo artist, Schlesinger wrote songs and tracks for several TV shows and films. He was nominated for an Oscar and Golden Globe for the title track of the Tom Hanks film That Thing You Do and won an Emmy for the song "Anti-Depressants Are So Not a Big Deal," which was featured on the TV series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
