Bob McGrath

Bob McGrath was a successful recording artist before he was cast as Bob Johnson on Sesame Street, a role he played from 1969 to 2016. He also was a regular on the Telemiracle telethon, broadcast annually on CTV in the province of Saskatchewan, for which he received the Commemorative Medal for the Centennial of Saskatchewan in 2006 and the Saskatchewan Distinguished Service Award in 2013. He died from complications of a stroke at age 90 on December 4, 2022.
