Tony Dow

Tony Dow made his television debut when he was cast at age 12 in the starring role of Wally Cleaver, older brother to Theodore Cleaver (a.k.a. Beaver) on the series Leave It to Beaver (1957-1963). When the series came to an end, he acted on and off sporadically, but his heart was never in acting and he regretted having been a child star. Tony Dow died on July 27, 2022 of liver cancer at a hospice. He was 77 years old.
