Having appeared in numerous commercials, Katy Kurtzman got her big break at age 11 in 1977, playing a little girl with a stuttering problem on the hit series Little House on the Prairie. She went on to work steadily, including returning to the show the next year to play young Caroline Ingalls, starring in several Disney TV movies and the TV movie The New Adventures of Heidi (1978). In 1981, she was cast in a recurring role on Dynasty and even appeared on the hit series Grey’s Anatomy in 2013.
