Evil Dead II (1987)

Film crossovers are always fun and there's a cool one in the second installment of the Evil Dead series. In the scene where Ash bursts into the tool shed, you can see Freddy Krueger's clawed glove sitting above the door frame. This is apparently the result of a little tiff between director Sam Raimi and fellow horror creator Wes Craven. Wes Craven included a Jaws (1975) poster in The Hills Have Eyes (1977) to insinuate his film is scarier. Sam Raimi responded by placing a The Hills Have Eyes poster in The Evil Dead (1981). In return, Wes put a torn Evil Dead poster in A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), which leads us to this nod with Freddy's glove. The glove makes an appearance again in the hit series based on the Evil Dead films, Ash vs Evil Dead, which you can see pictured above.
