The Hollywood Motion Picture Museum opens in Vegas

In 1995, Debbie's children were present for the opening of her Hollywood Motion Picture Museum in Las Vegas. Todd, then 36, devised the high-tech, computer-generated theater situated in the museum, which displayed Debbie's extensive collection of movie memorabilia. She began the collection in 1970 when MGM decided to get rid of costumes, props and furniture, including Gene Kelly's dance shoes, Marilyn Monroe's white dress from The Seven-Year Itch and a pair of ruby slippers from The Wizard of Oz.
