Home Alone

This classic film is set in Chicago, but you'll have to travel just a bit outside out the city to find the iconic McAllister home. You can visit the real-life mansion at 671 Lincoln Ave in Winnetka, Illinois. The exterior of the house was featured in both Home Alone and Home Alone 2, although the inside was all a set. The house was too small for a movie crew, so they replicated the interiors on a soundstage built inside a local high school. The house went on the market in 2011 and sold for more than $1.5 million USD.
