The Invisible Man

In The Invisible Man (1933), scientist Jack Griffin (Claude Rains) stumbles across a formula that renders items entirely invisible. Eventually he decides to try the formula on himself, thinking of all the benefits of being invisible. When he realizes the effect is permanent, Jack panics and searches for a formula to reverse the invisibility. He tries to conceal his condition by wrapping his head in bandages, wearing a fake nose, and dark goggles.
