Timothée Chalamet in Little Women

A little over a year younger than Saoirse Ronan, who plays the indomitable Jo March in Little Women, Timothée Chalamet as Laurie seems so much younger that this is the first film version of the classic novel in which audiences actually sympathized with Jo when she turned him down. As she's becoming a woman, Laurie still seems like a gawky 15-year-old boy, which is not what most young women dream of when thinking of what they'd like in a husband.
