The Amityville Horror

The Lutz family moves into a house that was the scene of the multiple horrific murders of a family just one year earlier in The Amityville Horror. Despite the history of the house they decide to stay. Soon after, the family begins to experience strange occurrences when their daughter begins to see people and the husband starts behaving strangely. This was first made into a movie in 1979 starring James Brolin and Margot Kidder, then remade in 2005 (pictured above) starring Ryan Reynolds and Melissa George.
