Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby

“If you ain’t first, you’re last!” was a saying NASCAR driver Ricky Bobby (Will Ferrell) was told by his father, Reese Bobby (Gary Cole) when he was kicked out of Ricky’s career day elementary school visit after a vulgar speech. Fifteen years later, while working as a pit crew member for Dennit Racing driver Terry Cheveaux (Adam McKay), Ricky was asked to replace him. Despite starting mid-race in last place, Ricky bullets through the race and finishes third. Since then, he’s become a racer for Dennit Racing alongside best friend, Cal Naughton Jr. (John C. Reilly). While he and Cal are on top of the racing world, Ricky is challenged by rival Formula One driver Jean Girard (Sacha Baron Cohen), who outshines Ricky on and off the track and becomes Dennit Racing’s next top driver.
