To be clear, we're not talking about Stanley Ipkiss, the humdrum bank teller and man behind the mask. We're referring to the zoot-suited, green-faced hurricane that Stanley transforms into after he decides to try on an ancient wooden mask he finds. It's physically exhausting watching Carrey play this excessively chatty and kinetic bank robber/prima donna — and this is the same guy who introduced Ace Ventura and The Riddler to cinema.
