Ridley Scott finally offers audiences a sequel to his 2000 Oscar-winning film. It follows Lucius Verus (Paul Mescal), the son of Maximus' love Lucilla, after Maximus' death. Denzel Washington and Pedro Pascal also play roles in this swords and sandals epic.
