Blue Bayou – September 17

After two solid indie hits in Gook and Ms. Purple, actor, writer and director Justin Chon will look to bring his sensibilities on Asian American stories closer to the mainstream with his 2021 release Blue Bayou. This Louisiana-set story is about a Korean-American man struggling to make a life for his family while confronting ghosts from his past that may result in him being deported from the only home he's ever known. Co-starring Oscar winner Alicia Vikander, this is easily Chon's highest profile project to date and could be something truly special.
