Respect – August 13

It's been a long time since audiences were excited by a Jennifer Hudson film, but the Oscar-winning actress will get the chance to flex both her acting chops and vocal cords in this Aretha Franklin biopic. This has all the markings of your typical musical biopic, but Hudson looks primed to deliver yet another powerhouse performance and could be an early favorite to land a Best Actress Oscar nomination for her role.
