Glenn Close

The words "Academy Award Winner Glenn Close" sound about right, right? Wrong. That, unfortunately, would be a misnomer. Glenn has been nominated a total of six times in her storied career, but has never actually won. We know, right? She's a well-respected actress with many great roles under her belt (The Big Chill and Albert Nobbs, anyone?) but, despite her immense talent, she's still not uttered in the same breath as the Katharine Hepburns, Meryl Streeps, or Cate Blanchetts -- the elite Oscar darlings. Marcia, Marcia, Marcia, indeed.
