Tommy Wiseau has become a legendary figure in his own right for making arguably the most well-known bad movie ever. The Room, which he wrote, directed, and starred in has achieved a status few of the best reviewed films ever reach and its status in pop culture was cemented with the 2017 comedy The Disaster Artist, which chronicled The Room’s creation to perfection. There is no mistaking the film is bad, and that’s putting it lightly, but there’s also something just so mesmerizing about the film itself that it’s hard to divert your attention away from it.
