Paul Bettany: Avengers: Age of Ultron

In the early 2010s, Paul Bettany struggled to find his place as an actor in action films, appearing in flops like Priest, Legion, and Transcendence. In 2008, Bettany started working with Marvel Studios, which was much smaller at the time, playing the voice of J.A.R.V.I.S., Tony Stark's intelligent A.I. system in Iron Man. In 2015, Marvel Studios introduced Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron, with Paul Bettany stepping up from his voice acting role and becoming an onscreen talent. Fans were glad to see Bettany become Vision, as he brought a sophistication and charm to the synthezoid, a character most would assume to be devoid of emotion. His popularity as Vision even brought along the new Disney+ series WandaVision, which is considered one of the best TV projects to come from Marvel Studios.
