The Shape of Water

Director Guillermo del Toro has filmed many of his movies in Toronto and The Shape of Water is no exception. The Oscar-winning movie was shot in prominent city locations such as the University of Toronto, the Elgin Theatre and Massey Hall. The OCCAM Aerospace Research Center where the main character Elisa Esposito works as a cleaner does not actually exist and instead was built as a set inside Cinespace Studios in Etobicoke.
