Best Visual Effects – Tenet

With director Christopher Nolan delivering yet another visceral and visual experience with his latest film Tenet, it’s hard to picture any other movie having a shot at the Visual Effects Oscar. His penchant for favoring practical effects, while using CGI when necessary, pretty much ensured that no other film this year would come close to picking up this Oscar. Tenet simply delivered some truly groundbreaking visuals on both the practical and special effects side, making it one of 2020's most memorable.
