Michael Fassbender – Prometheus/Alien: Covenant (2012/2017)

With Ridley Scott's return to the Alien franchise, a lot was expected for his two prequel films, Prometheus and Alien: Covenant. Although neither film provided audiences with what they wanted out of those films, they both centered around one of Michael Fassbender's most impressive roles to date — the android David. For all the faults of both films, Fassbender has remained the one consistently captivating element with his eerie performance as David. Cold, precise, mechanical and artificial, Fassbender perfectly portrayed David as a morally ambiguous character.
