William Fichtner – Drive Angry (2011)

Even as Nicolas Cage's 2011 action vehicle Drive Angry was aiming for campy fun with its tone, it didn't change the fact that intentionally aiming to be bad — still made it bad. However, the one performance that was pitch perfect throughout the film belongs to William Fichtner. The veteran character actor takes on the role of The Accountant, an agent of the Devil who presides over souls sent to hell and is in charge of tracking down and bringing back Nicolas Cage's Milton, who has escaped. Fichtner is a riot every time he appears on-screen thanks to his manner of speech that reflects his fish-out-of-water status, while also coming off as nonchalant and full of improvisation to achieve his goal.
